I made these and followed your recipe. They came out as one huge pan cookie:/. Too much butter for the Tollhouse recipe.
Cannabis Spatula
ACK! Thanks so much for letting us know. Definitely a typo in the original. We adjusted the butter accordingly. Hopefully you were still able to enjoy the pan cookie!
Juha
Hey peeps!
I added some melted liquorice to your recipe..👍🤠
Cannabis Spatula
Ooh - how was it?
Juha
Fantastic, obviously 🤠
It's kinda like licorice chocolate 👍
Cannabis Spatula
Awesome!
Peggy M
how much oil from a syringe not butter for the cookies. its 850mg
Cannabis Spatula
You should be able to substitute the 1/2 cup of CannaButter for 1/2 cup of CannaOil (assuming that the amount of the infusion is similar to our CannaOil recipe linked here: https://cannabisspatula.com/how-to-make-cannabis-infused-oil-canna-oil-recipe-and-video/). The cookies might have a little bit different texture than if you used butter, but they should taste just as great. Also - make sure it's vegetable or coconut oil - not olive oil.
Malia Ota
These were delicious. Chewy and moist.
Cannabis Spatula
Awesome! So glad you liked them!
Melissa
I have 130g stick of canna butter bought at a dispensary. 100mg thc for the whole stick. Should I use the whole thing for this recipe?
Cannabis Spatula
I probably would. They'll be a little bit lower dose than this recipe, but you can just eat more.
Caitlin
Can you use 1 cup of cannabutter instead of doing regular butter?
Cannabis Spatula
You can. You may find that the taste is a little stronger than normal. They will also be strong cookies, so plan accordingly.
Cashiya
I’ve never baked cannabis cookies before, however, most regular chocolate chip recipes require the dough to sit in the fridge for a minimum of an hour. If I follow this step will it affect the texture and taste of my cookies ?
Cannabis Spatula
You don't need to do that for this recipe, but you certainly CAN refrigerate the dough before baking. It will not impact texture, taste or strength of your cookies.
Lucy
My cookies kept better shape after putting In the fridge first as my dough was too soft.
Lionel
About how many cookies does this make in a batch?
Cannabis Spatula
Roughly 5 dozen.
mike toohey
i just weigh my dough out at 21 grams per cookie and i get and even 5 dz
mike toohey
oh by the way these are the best cookies ever
Trenessia Walthour
How much is one cookie?
And how can you determine the amount of cannibus in one cookie or batch?
Cannabis Spatula
Approximately 11-12 mg THC per cookie. Dosage determined using marijuana with 10% THC.
Brandy
Do I have to put the syrup in?
Cannabis Spatula
Nope. It migth help to cut the taste of cannabis a little (and it does make for perfect chocolate chip cookies), but it's definitely optional.
Dan
Can I use raisins instead of chocolate chips?
Cannabis Spatula
Absolutely!
Sorcha
Can you replace the canna butter for canna coconut oil instead? Would that change the entire recipe?
Cannabis Spatula
It's definitely worth trying! Be sure and let us know how it goes!
maddie
even though I made it with one cup of cannabutter, my cookies did not get me high. could leaving them in for a longer time mess with the effectiveness of the thc?
Cannabis Spatula
Assuming your CannaButter was made with the recipe on our site, and your weed had a THC level of 10% (which is average), the dosing for this recipe is 11-12mg / one tablespoon cookie. Depending on your tolerance level, you may need to eat more than one cookie to feel the effects. Check out our dosing calculator if you used a different CannaButter recipe or if your weed had a higher potency level. https://cannabisspatula.com/cannabis-dosage-calculator-how-much-thc-is-in-my-edibles/

Cannabis Spatula
Awesome - love to hear it!!
Nancy
Is this the correct amount of butter or oil?
I saw in previous question posted that it was too much butter :/ Is 1/2 cup canna oil and 1/2 cup regular butter the correct measurements?
Cannabis Spatula
The recipe is correct. A MUCH older version had a typo, but that was corrected long ago. Thanks!
Brenda Emmert
Followed the recipe But my cookies came out to runny
butter man
add more flour
Sandra
I had been told that you shouldn’t cook/bake cannabis higher than 240° or it kills the effect of THC. Your recipe says yo bake at 375°… will that affect the THC??
Cannabis Spatula
Nope - you should be all good!
Sha
I love this recipe. Someone asked me to make it vegan. What do suggest instead of the eggs?
Cannabis Spatula
Applesauce might be a great option. Replace each egg with 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce. Let us know how it turns out!
