    Cannabis Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

    WOW!

These soft, chewy, gooey Cannabis Chocolate Chip Cookies are perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner - and 4:20 every single day.

Bonus! We're giving you recipe modifications to make these gluten free and dairy free.

Not only are we incorporating CannaButter into this classic recipe, we're also including my grandmother's secret ingredient: maple syrup. Its only purpose is to make these cookies even softer and tastier than the original.

What my grandma didn't know is that it also helps to mask the taste of marijuana -making this recipe a true staple for every cannabis kitchen.

How to Make Cannabis Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you've ever baked cookies, then this recipe will be very familiar to you. You'll start by creaming together your sugar, brown sugar, butter, CannaButter, vanilla and eggs.  Be sure to use the dairy-free butter and CannaButter of your choice if you want these cookies to be dairy-free.

Next, you'll add in your dry ingredients. Be sure to use gluten free flour if you want these to be gluten free.

Then, you'll stir in some maple syrup (you can thank my grandma for this incredible recipe addition.)

And finally, you'll stir in your chocolate chips. Be sure to use dairy-free chocolate chips if you want these cookies to be dairy-free.

After baking, you'll have 5-dozen cookies to enjoy whenever the mood strikes. Yum!

I made these and followed your recipe. They came out as one huge pan cookie:/. Too much butter for the Tollhouse recipe.

You should be able to substitute the 1/2 cup of CannaButter for 1/2 cup of CannaOil (assuming that the amount of the infusion is similar to our CannaOil recipe linked here: https://cannabisspatula.com/how-to-make-cannabis-infused-oil-canna-oil-recipe-and-video/). The cookies might have a little bit different texture than if you used butter, but they should taste just as great. Also - make sure it's vegetable or coconut oil - not olive oil.

You can. You may find that the taste is a little stronger than normal. They will also be strong cookies, so plan accordingly.

I’ve never baked cannabis cookies before, however, most regular chocolate chip recipes require the dough to sit in the fridge for a minimum of an hour. If I follow this step will it affect the texture and taste of my cookies ?

You don't need to do that for this recipe, but you certainly CAN refrigerate the dough before baking. It will not impact texture, taste or strength of your cookies.

Nope. It migth help to cut the taste of cannabis a little (and it does make for perfect chocolate chip cookies), but it's definitely optional.

Assuming your CannaButter was made with the recipe on our site, and your weed had a THC level of 10% (which is average), the dosing for this recipe is 11-12mg / one tablespoon cookie. Depending on your tolerance level, you may need to eat more than one cookie to feel the effects. Check out our dosing calculator if you used a different CannaButter recipe or if your weed had a higher potency level. https://cannabisspatula.com/cannabis-dosage-calculator-how-much-thc-is-in-my-edibles/

I had been told that you shouldn’t cook/bake cannabis higher than 240° or it kills the effect of THC. Your recipe says yo bake at 375°… will that affect the THC??
