    What could be better than Hot Chocolate on a Stick? Cannabis Hot Chocolate on a Stick!

    Whip up 12 of these easy edibles treats in no time and eat or drink them for weeks to come. Stir into a mug of hot milk for a creamy, chocolately, weedy drink or just eat them straight off the stick. It's completely up to you.

    📋INGREDIENTS

    • Chocolate chips (semi-sweet, milk chocolate, or white chocolate)
    • Cannabis Coconut Oil
    • Marshmallows, Sprinkles, Crushed Candy Canes or any topping of your choice
    • Wooden Sticks/Spoons (or you can use white plastic spoons)
    • Mini-Muffin Tray or Ice Cube Tray

    🔪 INSTRUCTIONS

    Follow these simple steps for this easy hot chocolate on a stick recipe.

    1. Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 1 minute.
    2. Remove and stir. Continue to heat in 30 second increments (stirring in between) until chocolate is melted and smooth.
    3. Spoon ½ teaspoon melted Cannabis Coconut Oil into each mini muffin tin (12 total).
    4. Fill each muffin tin with melted chocolate. Stir.
    5. Top with sprinkles, crushed candy canes, mini marshmallows and any other toppings that sound good.
    6. Place wooden sticks or plastic spoons into the middle of each cup.
    7. Place in freezer and freeze for 20-30 minutes.
    8. Remove from muffin tins and wrap individually. We like to use cellophane bags.
    9. Store on a shelf or in a cabinet for up to 6 months.
    10. When ready to enjoy, stir into a mug of hot milk. (Water will not work for this hot chocolate.)

    🧾 SUBSTITUTIONS

    Make it Gluten Free

    The best thing about this recipe is that it's already gluten free! Woo hoo!

    Make it Dairy Free

    Make this recipe dairy free by using dairy free chocolate chips. (We like this brand.) You'll also need to make sure that you stir it into a dairy-free milk of your choice to make the hot chocolate.

    There are a couple variations for this recipe:

    • Try different chocolates! You can make this recipe with milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate or even butterscotch chips. Yum!
    • Experiment with your toppings! The opportunities for toppings are endless. Sprinkles, candy canes, marshmallows, red hot candies - have fun with your toppings.

    🥘FREEZING AND STORAGE

    STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

    After hot chocolate sticks have set in the freezer (at least 30 minutes), wrap each one individually in cellophane or put in a baggie. Store on the counter or in a cabinet for up to six months.

    FREEZER INSTRUCTIONS

    You can also transfer all of the hot chocolate sticks from the muffin tin to an airtight container once they're frozen. Store in the freezer for 6 months.

    How Long Can I Store My Hot Chocolate on a Stick?

    You can store this in an airtight container on a shelf or in a cabinet for up to six months.

    Why Does my Chocolate not Melt when I mix it with hot water?

    Unfortunately you MUST use warm milk when using your hot chocolate on a stick to actually make hot chocolate. This recipe will not work with water.

    Can I eat this Cannabis Hot Chocolate on a Stick WITHOUT making hot chocolate?

    Absolutely! While the recipe calls for you stirring into a mug of hot milk, you can definitely just grab one and eat like a popsicle. They're that good.

    How do I make this more potent?

    There are a couple of things you can do to make this recipe more potent.

    1. Use a stronger strain of marijuana when you make your coconut oil infusion.
    2. Use more Canna Oil in each serving. You'll want to experiment with this to find the right balance between taste and potentcy.
