    💭 TOP TIPS

    • Do not overtighten the mason jar lid!
    • Investing in a french press will make all the difference and allow you to squeeze as much of your infusion as possible out of your mixture! (We like this one).
    • Don't forget to decarb your weed before starting the infusion process!

The very best part about this entire recipe is how easy it is to customize it to meet your own needs and desires.

    Granola

Instead of granola bars, make this recipe as a granola topping for your morning yogurt or to eat as a cereal with milk. Divide into 16 equal portions and store in the fridge or freezer until you're ready to eat it.

    Optional Mix-Ins

The sky is the limit on what you want to add into these granola bars. We recommend ¾ cup TOTAL of extra add-ins, so (for example) that could be ¼ cup of three different ingredients. Some options include:

    • Peanut Butter *See recipe notes*

    📋 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Maltodextrin Powder? Is it safe?

Maltodextrin is generally used as a thickener or filler to increase the volume of a processed food. It's also a preservative that increases the shelf life of packaged foods. It's inexpensive and easy to produce, so it's useful for thickening products such as instant pudding and gelatins, sauces, and salad dressings.

It's typically a powder made of rice, corn, wheat or potatoes. It is dairy free, vegetarian and vegan. It is not a sugar, but it can be used as a sugar substitute.

Maltodextrin can be a quick source of energy. One gram contains four calories, the same amount as table sugar or sucrose. The body digests the powder quickly to help you get some fuel for your muscles. This explains why companies use it in large quantities in making energy drinks and sports drinks.

If you are diabetic, on the keto diet or needing to avoid carbohydrates for some reason, you will not want to eat Maltodextrin Powder.

Why does THC powder hit faster than Canna Oil or other infusions?

THC powder (or Cannabis Oil Powder) is water soluble, which means it absorbs into the bloodstream faster than a typical infusion containing fat.

How should I use this THC powder?

The options are endless. It's odorless and tasteless!

    • Sprinkle on any single recipe you make
    • Stir in to your hot drinks (like Canna Coffee and our Keto Hot Chocolate)
    • Sprinkle it on your morning oatmeal or yogurt
    • Stir it into your morning smoothie
    • Sprinkle it on your cereal
    • Sprinkle it on your ice cream

Can I stir this into a cold drink?

Yes, but it's not completely perfect in cold drinks. You may notice some lumps or some oil rising to the surface. But definitely give it a try.

Would this make a good gift?

We thought you'd never ask. Click here to grab our special gifting labels.

How do I make these Ganja Granola Bars Healthy?

Everyone has a different version of "health" these days, but you could stir in mixed nuts, coconut, dried fruit and other "healthy" choices to keep them delicious without adding extra sugar or chocolate.

How do I make these more potent?

There are several ways to make these more potent.

    • You could use a stronger strain of marijuana when you create your butter or honey infusion.
    • You could use more CannaButter in the recipe to replace the regular butter.
    • You could use CannaButter AND CannaHoney.

Use our free dosage calculator to determine your final dosing.

    1. OPTIONAL: Place the oats and nuts on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes in a 350 degree oven (until lightly toasted). This will give your granola bars more of a cookie taste, but it is optional.

    3. Place nuts and oats in a large bowl.
    4. In a small saucepan, combine honey (or CannaHoney), butter (and/or CannaButter) and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat until the butter is melted, and the sugar is fully dissolved. Stir occasionally.

    6. Pour mixture over the oats and nuts and stir to combine.
    7. Add mix-in ingredients (except for chocolate) and stir until all oats are covered.
    8. If adding chocolate, wait 10 minutes for mixture to cool down before adding.
    9. Place mixture in the prepared pan. Use the bottom of a greased measuring cup or spoon to press the mixture into the pan.
    10. Place the granola bars in the fridge for at least 2 hours. (Overnight is even better!)
    11. Lift the bars from the pan and place them on a cutting board. Cut into 16 equal pieces.
