If you've been eating Cannabis Edibles for long, then chances are you've probably had an experience where you ate too much.
And got too high.
Don't panic!
While we recommend that you always go low and slow when eating cannabis-infused recipes (start with small portions and wait 45 minutes to an hour before having more), eating too much too fast can definitely happen.
What to do if you accidentally eat too much Marijuana
The great news is that while you might feel high out of your mind, the situation isn't dangerous.
There is no such thing as a fatal overdose from marijuana.
You may feel pretty uncomfortable, but your heart won't stop beating, you won't stop breathing - you will NOT die. So stay calm.
In the meantime, there are a few things you can do:
Eat, Drink and Be Merry
If you were feasting on marijuana treats on an empty stomach, you're going to feel the effects stronger than you would on a full stomach. Eat non-medicated foods and drink as much water as you can stomach.
Chew Peppercorns
Did you know that black peppercorns can counteract high levels of THC? Chew on three or four peppercorns for just a few minutes, and you'll be feeling better in 5 - 10 minutes. Woo hoo!
Hit the Hay
Our personal favorite remedy for too much THC is sleep. More than likely, you'll sleep like a log and feel fantastic when you wake up.
As always, please consult a medical professional if you are concerned about your health and/or safety. We are not medical professionals and cannot offer medical advice.

Claire
Hello! I just have a question about measurements in your recipes.. I live in NZ so work mainly in metric, but have imperial scales. Is your standard “cup” measured by volume (i.e. 250mL) or mass (I.e. 8oz)? Many thanks!!
Cannabis Spatula
By mass. 🙂
